The Final Countdown…!

This is the final newsletter you will be receiving from the Original Glaze Team. You may ask why?

Raddedd and NachoJ (the two original members of the OG team) have decided to move on to new things.

It has been a wild 3 years working on Original Glaze. We had big aspirations for what the platform would be for cosplayers, convention organizers, photographers and fans all over the world.

In some ways, we succeeded in creating a place for cosplayers to come together with 30K users at our peak from over 15 countries. In other ways, we couldn’t make the platform sustainable.

What does this all mean?

• You will be able to enjoy the Original Glaze Platform until Saturday, June 18th before the platform goes down forever.
• All data on the platform will no longer be accessible and deleted after June 18th.
• OG Discord will continue for general cosplay discussion but the focus on platform will no longer be supported.

This wasn’t the end we envisioned when we started the project. That said, we want to thank you for joining us on this journey and being a valuable part of our community. We wouldn’t have been at it for so long without you all.

A special shout out to the Mod team (chibi_raincloud, Capa and Jess) for helping build the community and making sure we stayed engaged with questions and suggestions. We couldn’t have done it without you!
